Bluegiga BLE113-A-M256K Bluetooth Smart Module

The Bluegiga BLE113-A-M256K Bluetooth Smart Module is ideal for small and low power sensors and accessories. The BLE113-A-M256K module features 256K of memory to allow OTA (over the air) firmware upgrades. It is based on the TI CC2541, the first SoC (CC2540/41) with OTA capability. The Bluegiga BLE113-A-M256K Bluetooth Smart Module integrates all features required for a Bluetooth Smart application: Bluetooth radio, software stack and GATT based profiles. It can also host end user applications, which means no external micro controller is required in size or price constrained devices. It has flexible hardware interfaces to connect to different peripherals and sensors. The BLE113-A-M256K is 30% smaller and uses 30% less power than BLE112 and can be powered directly from a standard 3V coin cell battery or pair of AAA batteries. In lowest power sleep mode it consumes only 500nA and will wake up in few hundred microseconds.
